Shotgun Raffles Essential Element in Fundraising
Competitive shooting is an expensive sport and fundraising must be an essential
element of each SCTP Team program. SKB Shotguns offers a raffle package to help
teams raise money to offset the cost of practice targets, travel, meals, and entry
fees.
This program was designed to make the fundraising process simple, fun and rewarding
for the coaches, parents and student athletes. The program also promotes public
awareness to the sport in the community.
The raffle package includes an over/under shotgun, pre-printed raffle ticket, advertising
posters and incentive merchandise. The Team selects the specific shotgun, the type
of raffle and the number of chances to be sold.
For example, the Team can expect to net $1725 by selling all 250 chances of a $10
raffle on a Model 500 LW shotgun. While earning 1000 points of award merchandise
for the ticket sellers.
Additional tickets and 1000 points of incentive merchandise can be added to any
raffle program to increase the Team’s net profits. The cost to double the number
of raffle tickets and award points is $225.
So in the example of the Model 500 LW raffle, when the Team sells 500 chances, they
also receive 2000 points of award merchandise and net $4000 in a single raffle program.
